The 24th Exposec, held last week at São Paulo Expo, was marked by a massive turnout of industry professionals interested in learning about security solutions and technological innovations.
In an edition that began as a historic event by expanding its exhibition area in 20%, the success in terms of audience, with more than 51,000 visitors, solidified the relevance of this edition by exceeding the previous year's audience by more than 10%.
This result symbolizes the strength of a sector that projects growth of 19% for this year, according to ABESE – the Brazilian Association of Electronic Security Systems Companies.
Organized by Fiera Milano Brasil in partnership with ABESE, the event, which brought together more than 800 exhibiting brands, cemented its position as one of the largest security trade shows in Latin America.
According to Maurício Duval Macedo, CEO of Fiera Milano Brasil, Exposec has proven to be a very relevant trade fair for the sector.
“"It's an event that companies reserve for their product launches and that attracts a very qualified audience. There is, in fact, a lot of business generated," he says.
“"That's why every year we have a great renewal rate and several companies wanting to expand their spaces for the next edition," he adds.
Macedo reveals that the fair's growth and improvement plans are always under development. He adds that these plans include attracting more cybersecurity companies and increasing the number of international exhibitors.
“We realize that there is still plenty of room for growth for the fair and that we are on the right track, because we see how happy the market is with Exposec,” he adds.
Crowded aisles, an audience enthusiastic about the attractions, and widespread media interest in the new products set the tone, proving the fair's success.
According to Selma Migliori, president of ABESE, this was one of the best Exposec events in recent years. "We brought a qualified audience to the fair, and our exhibitors are very satisfied with the business deals being made," she celebrated.
Migliori also highlights the positive feedback they have received from members, congratulating them on the structure set up and the interest the attractions have generated.
One example of this was the ABESE Connect arena, which this year featured the conceptual theme of Safe City, showcasing artificial intelligence solutions for security in urban spaces.
“It was an attraction that sparked media interest in learning about applied AI solutions. With this, we are at the forefront of presenting to cities the technology already available to implement and bring more security to citizens,” he concludes.
For next year, the event is already scheduled. From June 4th to 6th, 2024, Exposec will once again occupy its space at São Paulo Expo, in São Paulo.
