We brought to the fair an armored vehicle that integrates the services and is the greatest example of how companies come together to provide the most modern security solutions,” says Marcio Fabozi, CEO of Allcom and partner of the Allcom Group.
The car has level IIIA armor plating, cameras and sensors that provide distance information to other vehicles, DMS technology that monitors driver fatigue and sends alerts to the driver, and a monitoring and camera company that helps the driver make route adjustments using GPS. These cameras have IP67 technology, which adjusts to fog, functioning accurately even without visibility of the road.

Advanced technology and professional qualification are the main highlights of the booth of Protege Group At Exposec 2024, the company set up an immersive virtual shooting program at the event, linked to Provig, the Group's security guard training center located in São Paulo. Increased security and cost reduction are two of the priorities that condominiums, both residential and commercial, face daily. According to the Criminal Information System (Infocrim), before the pandemic, the average number of break-ins in condominiums was 12,000 per month. The InovaUSP project brings Brazilian innovation through technology transfer.
The University of São Paulo and ABESE (Brazilian Association of Electronic Security Systems Companies They are launching in partnership at Exposec 2024. A new phase of the technology transfer program, focused on security solutions based on the 'Labrador' tag from the 'Mad Dogs' program. The main objective is to reduce costs and increase the performance of security products manufactured in Brazil.
The fully Brazilian artificial intelligence technology is already in operation with the Military Police of the State of São Paulo, and is expected to gain greater participation in the coming months with new phases of the program.
Robson Arantes, the USP representative at the event, says that the main goal is to bring the university closer to electronic security companies. “Unlike other devices, the technologies used in the open-source boards of the Caninos Loucos program are not discontinued, guaranteeing investments by national companies in the development of their products.” He explains that once the open-source hardware board is used in the company's products, the product becomes the exclusive property of the company, enabling patent protection and intellectual property security.

Real-time monitoring system for ballistic vests and weapons.
One of the spaces that has attracted the attention of visitors to Exposec 2024, which opened this Tuesday (4), at São Paulo Expo, is the ABESE Arena. Innovative technologies aimed at collective security for people in the urban environment are being presented there.
A Tracktum The company is showcasing its latest innovation at the trade fair: a real-time monitoring system for ballistic vests and weapons. This system sends immediate alerts to the police intelligence center in case of a shooting or injury, allowing for a quick and efficient response. “The technology has been operational for almost a year. So far, we are only present in the private sector. However, we aim to participate in forums and events, such as Exposec, to get closer to and understand the demands of the public sector,” says Vinícius Queiroz, electronics technician at the company.
“The technology used allows the intelligence center to know exactly where the weapon is located, as the location is presented in three dimensions. This way, it's possible to know when it's in the police officer's holster, when he's holding it, and thus measure the accuracy of the shot as well as the position, angle, and distance, among other details. Our goal, in the short and medium term, is to enter public security with an integrated pistol and ballistic vest,” Queiroz concludes.
Reducing social violence can help the security sector grow.
Some people think that the more violence, the better for the security sector, but that's not true. This was explained by Antônio Brasiliano, president of... Brazilian Interisk, during the lecture Public Security in Brazil: Criminal Factions Dominating the Brazilian Context, held at Exposec, the largest trade fair in the sector in Latin America, which opened today (June 4th) at São Paulo Expo.
Brasiliano provided a current overview of the lack of public safety and how it negatively impacts the sector, whose effectiveness is questioned in light of the numerous violations that occur in a society with high crime rates.
“There’s a feeling that the security sector isn’t working, because you install a system and you get robbed, you put in a sensor, you get hacked. Things don’t work so well, but that’s not what’s not working. It’s the lack of public security that causes this perception,” says Brasiliano.
The president further emphasized that improvements in public safety can boost the sector, giving it the opportunity to refine itself and focus on more structured crimes that significantly impact the targets of these criminal infiltrations. And, in the expert's opinion, a change in this scenario is urgently needed.
“Public security is ineffective. The gangs need to be fought. Fighted with what? With this solution, we need to use the issue of perspective scenarios in an integrated way, a process, along with intelligence, and finalize with risk analysis. And then, yes, we could put together an action plan, a more effective and much more assertive security plan,” he states.
