The expanding sector will be the central theme of discussions during Exposec 2025, which takes place in June in São Paulo.
The increasing adoption of technologies such as artificial intelligence, real-time data analysis, and connected platforms has transformed how businesses, homes, and public institutions handle security. Systems capable of identifying suspicious behavior, remotely controlling access, and anticipating risks are becoming standard in the market, driving a rapidly growing segment in the country.
Amid this transformative scenario, São Paulo will host Exposec – the International Security Technology Fair, the leading event in the field in Latin America, from June 10th to 12th. The exhibition will bring together manufacturers, integrators, startups, authorities, and institutions to present trends, discuss public policies, and foster strategic partnerships.
In this edition, the event expands its scope and officially incorporates sectors that have been gaining prominence in the electronic security landscape. These include AI, with applications focused on automation and predictive analytics; cybersecurity, focused on protection against digital attacks and information security; and connectivity, with advanced solutions for residential and corporate environments, as well as products aimed at systems integration.
“This will be an important moment to generate connections between those who think about, develop, and invest in security solutions. We bring together professionals from all over the country and abroad, which creates a very rich environment for exchanging experiences, new business, and partnerships that extend beyond the three days of the event. This year, with the integration of new strategic sectors, the expectation is to surpass the results of the previous edition, both in terms of qualified audience and the volume of opportunities generated for the entire production chain,” comments Mauricio Macedo, CEO of Fiera Milano Brasil.
“We are living through a historic moment for the electronic security sector, where technological advances, such as artificial intelligence and real-time connectivity, are combined with a clearer regulatory environment that is more favorable to innovation. Exposec 2025 will be a strategic space to discuss the direction of this expanding ecosystem and reinforce the role of security as an essential pillar for the sustainable and intelligent development of Brazilian cities,” says Selma Migliori, president of ABESE.
New programming schedule for the Content Arena.
The content programming also takes center stage this year, with a revamped Content Arena, an auditorium for 300 people, and thematic tracks distributed throughout the three days. The panels will address innovation in public safety, technological trends, and strategies for physical and digital environments.
On June 10th, the opening will be conducted by Selma Migliori, president of ABESE, and Maurício Macedo, CEO of Fiera Milano Brasil. The Secretary of Public Security of the State of São Paulo, Guilherme Derrite, will present the advancements of the Muralha Paulista program, highlighting its use of artificial intelligence and intelligent monitoring. Following this, Sandro Caron, Secretary of Public Security of the State of Rio Grande do Sul, will discuss the results of the RS Seguro Program, which has significantly reduced crime indicators, and the integration of investments in intelligence and social policies.
Both will also participate in the panel “Challenges and Best Practices in Public Security,” alongside Orlando Morando (Secretary of Urban Security of São Paulo), moderated by Roberto Motta. The discussion will address budgetary constraints, public policies, and investment in emerging technologies, with emphasis on the presentation of the Smart Sampa case and its integration with the Muralha Paulista Program.
On the 11th, the focus will be on the current challenges and opportunities in the security sector. Futurist and TEDx speaker Lala Deheizelin, creator of the Fluxonomia 4D methodology and considered one of the 100 women co-creating the new economy, opens the program with an analysis of macroeconomic perspectives and the financing of emerging technologies. Following this, Redfox CEO Isabela Abreu will participate in the panel “Science Fiction and the Future of Security,” which will address topics such as smart cities, advanced cybersecurity, and the impacts of climate change on physical security.
The final day of the program, June 12th, will be entirely dedicated to digital security, artificial intelligence, and data protection in cloud environments. The agenda begins with a lecture on the benefits of embedded artificial intelligence in security solutions and the importance of connectivity. Applications such as facial recognition and video analytics, which are transforming monitoring and incident response in corporate environments, will be discussed.
Following this, Luiz Ramalho, CEO and co-founder of the Magie app, will present the success story of the first AI-powered cloud-based banking app within the WhatsApp Business platform. The keynote will detail what makes the app and platform secure enough for users to entrust their banking lives to, highlighting technologies such as identity management, data protection, security by design, and encryption.
Also confirmed are the participation of Valter Wolf (president of ABRIA), Marcio Fabozi (CEO of Allcom Telecom) and Diego Aguiar (Head of Qualcomm in Brazil) in activities throughout the day.
