The event brought together 800 brands and attracted visitors from over 30 countries for three days of intense programming at São Paulo Expo.
From digital locks for homes to advanced facial recognition systems, Exposec 2025 brought the future of security to the present. Held from June 10th to 12th at São Paulo Expo, the 26th edition of the fair brought together 800 national and international brands from 20 countries, 58,319 industry professionals, and focused on the emerging sectors of Artificial Intelligence, Cybersecurity, and Connectivity.
According to Maurício Macedo, CEO of Fiera Milano Brasil, the company responsible for organizing and promoting the event, the fair's performance confirms its strategic role in the market: “With each edition, we see a leap in the quality of connections generated. The deals and partnerships established here show that the sector is thriving, innovative, and constantly expanding,” he states.
Among the exhibitors, Wolpac, sponsor of the Exposec Content Arena, also celebrated positive results. Nilton Sena, the company's marketing manager, notes that the event exceeded the company's expectations in terms of visibility and audience engagement. “This year's fair was very busy. We felt it attracted a highly qualified audience for our business, especially integrators of access control solutions, who have been migrating from other industry fairs to Exposec. This shift has worked for both Wolpac and Rossi, companies in the same group, allowing us to expand our investments in the event. At Rossi, we were able to make contact with several new distributors.”
Suzana Brockveld, Intelbras' Relationship Director, also positively assessed the company's participation. According to her, the event met the company's expectations, especially regarding contact with clients. "Many of our partners came to the fair accompanied by end-users of the products, such as companies in the commercial sector. Contact with the entire chain that uses Intelbras products is very important, and we were able to make several preliminary partnership contacts."“
For Grupo Protege, participation in the fair was a strategic opportunity to present innovations and strengthen relationships with the market. “We received a large number of visitors at our booth, who learned about our technological innovations for the security sector. We are certain that this relationship will generate many future business opportunities for the company. This year's fair demonstrated the importance of the connection between the private sector and public security. After all, we, in the corporate sector, have a range of technologies at our disposal that should be used by the public sector to benefit all of society,” says Ronaldo Tonelotto, corporate manager of asset security.
Artificial intelligence has gone from being a promise to becoming the norm.
In this year's edition, 64% of the solutions presented already featured integrated Artificial Intelligence (AI) — applied to predictive systems, intelligent automation, facial recognition, and monitoring with behavioral analysis. The technology has been used to anticipate risks, identify threat patterns, optimize real-time responses, and reduce the need for human intervention in operational processes. Some companies participating in the fair demonstrated solutions with facial recognition at their booths. These included DIPONTO, Intelbras, and PPA.
The trend was also confirmed by ABESE (Brazilian Association of Electronic Security Systems Companies), which released sector data indicating that 64.31 TFP of electronic security products already use AI at some stage of their operation.
ABESE also had a special reason to celebrate: during the event, it celebrated its 30 years of activity in the sector. The organization welcomed members, partners, and representatives of the production chain in an exclusive space, where it promoted strategic meetings, special activations, and commemorative actions, reinforcing its trajectory and its role in the development of the sector.
“Celebrating ABESE’s 30th anniversary during Exposec 2025 was more than symbolic; it was a milestone that reaffirms our historical role in strengthening the electronic security sector. Over these three days, in addition to presenting technological innovations, we had fundamental dialogues about the future of the market, such as the advancements in the Private Security Statute and the impact of regulation on companies. We also held strategic meetings with various segments, such as tracking, AI, monitoring, and access control, listening to demands, building joint solutions, and promoting integration. With each edition, Exposec reinforces that security is achieved with technology, but also with dialogue, representation, and a vision for the future. We remain united and ready for the challenges ahead,” says Selma Migliori, president of ABESE.
Content Arena
On the first day of the event, the space designated for lectures and panels hosted Orlando Morando, who presented to the participants the operation and advancements of the Smart Sampa Program, highlighting the evolution of technology applied to public safety in the capital over the years. According to him, the city currently has 31,300 smart cameras spread throughout the urban area, with 20,000 owned by the public sector and 11,300 from private initiatives.
Beyond its focus on public safety, the Content Arena also brought together futurists who discussed perceptions and perspectives for the future, with visions that go beyond the limits of traditional thinking. The debates highlighted emerging solutions and technological transformations that are shaping the future of security.
Other topics discussed throughout the program included the impact of macroeconomics on public safety policies and budgets in 2025, the benefits of artificial intelligence embedded in security solutions, and the growing importance of connectivity in the sector.
The program also featured the participation of Luciano Pope, CEO of Time is Money, a gold sponsor of the Exposec Content Arena. He was part of a panel discussing how artificial intelligence has transformed asset protection in companies. Practical examples were presented involving facial recognition, video analysis, and the integration of technologies applied to physical security.
Another panel addressed cloud and platform security for financial applications, discussing challenges such as visibility, identity management, and data protection, as well as best practices in security by design, cryptography, and event management. Trends related to the use of AI in financial apps and utility solutions within the platforms were also presented.
GCM Exhibition
Present at another edition of Exposec, the São Paulo Municipal Guard (GCM) showcased some of the resources used in patrol, monitoring, and tactical support operations. The booth displayed vehicles—including electric models—nautical motorcycles used in environmental defense, and drones from the Dronepol Program, applied in surveillance actions, crowd control, and support for Civil Defense.
Weapons and personal protective equipment were also on display, such as pistols, rifles, shields, helmets, and other controlled-use items. The corporation's canine unit participated with demonstrations of the dogs' work in police operations, narcotics detection, and educational activities in schools and public institutions.
