The largest security technology fair in Latin America, organized by ABESE, brought together more than 55,000 professionals, 800 exhibiting brands, and consolidated discussions on artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, regulation, and the digital transformation of the sector.
The 27th edition of Exposec ended last Wednesday (3), at São Paulo Expo, maintaining its position as the main platform for business, innovation, networking and knowledge generation for the security market.
Over three days, the fair brought together more than 800 exhibiting brands and 55,187 professionals from various segments of the security production chain, promoting launches, technological demonstrations, strategic debates, and business opportunities that boosted the entire sector.
The program for this edition reflected the main transformations that have been shaping the market. Artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, intelligent monitoring, automation, access control, smart cities, perimeter defense, protection of critical infrastructure, and integration between physical and digital security were among the topics that mobilized experts, companies, entities, and representatives of public authorities.
During the opening ceremony, authorities and industry leaders highlighted the role of technology as a strategic tool for risk prevention, protection of people and property, and strengthening public and private security operations.
One of the highlights of the event was the tribute paid by Fiera Milano Brasil to ABESE (Brazilian Association of Electronic Security Systems Companies), in recognition of its historical contribution to strengthening the sector and consolidating Exposec as the main electronic security event.

AI-based management efficiency also boosted the results of Inside, a developer of ERP systems for security companies. In the high-end access control vertical, the Shielder Technology, Shielder, celebrated its 10th anniversary during the 27th edition of the fair. As an innovation for this year, the company presented a unified solution capable of managing multiple access control formats, integrating stolen vehicle detection and automated warrant checks. Marco Romanelli, Commercial Director of Shielder, reported an overwhelming pace.“The volume of hot leads far exceeded previous years. Exposec Arena connects experts, technology, and knowledge to drive the evolution of the security sector.
Throughout the three days, Exposec also hosted discussions on the impacts of the new Private Security Statute, considered one of the most relevant topics for the future of the market. Experts, representatives of the Federal Police, sector entities, and business leaders debated the challenges of regulation, the professionalization of the segment, and ways to increase compliance and competitiveness for companies. Challenges related to the new tax reform and ABESE's victory at the Supreme Federal Court, which overturned Law No. 7,686/2025 of the Federal District that restricted the implementation of remote access control systems in condominiums, were also addressed.
Technological innovation was present in all areas of the fair. Exhibitors presented solutions based on artificial intelligence applied to image analysis, predictive monitoring, facial recognition, operational management, process automation, drones, perimeter defense, advanced connectivity, digital security, and data protection.
The convergence between physical security and cybersecurity also took center stage in the program. Experts discussed topics such as digital identity, protection of critical infrastructure, cyber resilience, data governance, the Zero Trust model, and the impact of artificial intelligence on preventing and combating digital threats.
The fair also highlighted the advancement of technology applied to public safety. Solutions such as Smart Sampa, intelligent monitoring systems, real-time analysis platforms, equipment to support security forces, and operational intelligence resources demonstrated how innovation is expanding the prevention, response, and investigation capabilities of the authorities.
O ABESE LABS, The ABESE innovation initiative, in partnership with InovaUSP, aimed to foster the development and integration of security technologies. It showcased a fully operational integrated public operations center featuring intelligent video monitoring and real-time video analysis to support security forces, smart totems for urban security, and integrated vehicle connectivity and tracking for security and urban mobility control.
“The fair is living proof that we are in a new era of electronic security, a market that generated more than 16 billion reais in 2025 and has just been recognized by the decree regulating the Private Security Statute (Law No. 14,967/2024) signed on June 9th by the Presidency of the Republic,” says Selma Migliori, president of ABESE. “We have always maintained that electronic security is more than technology – it is trust, it is protection through information, and it is innovation at the service of people. And today, with this law in effect, we see our sector finally recognized in its true dimension,” adds Selma.
