SÃO PAULO – Lacerda Sistemas, one of the most traditional and established brands in the critical energy sector in Brazil, concluded its participation in Exposec 2026 with a highly productive commercial balance, exceeding the average of previous years. With a history spanning over 27 years in the market, the company registered an intense and qualified flow of visitors from all regions of Brazil to its pavilion, capturing an impressive average of 1,000 to 1,500 new leads per day of the event.
The commercial performance reflects the brand's continued growth in the pavilion and the cross-cutting nature of its solutions, which are fundamental to supporting the digital transformation of the security sector. “In terms of negotiations, compared to other years, the result is slightly above average, especially compared to last year. Our volume of contacts and closed deals has been growing with each edition, which proves that the fair continues to be a very important productive engine for Lacerda,” assesses Vinícius Alves, COO of the company.
The Centrality of Critical Energy in Electronic Security
One of Lacerda Sistemas' main focuses at the event was to raise market awareness about the vital importance of power shielding for technological systems that cannot be interrupted. According to the brand's COO, the electronic security culture needs to understand that analytical software, high-resolution cameras, and intelligent systems become vulnerable if the electrical infrastructure fails.
“We are used to electricity functioning transparently on a daily basis. It is only when an unexpected outage or fluctuation occurs in the grid that the market realizes the damage,” explains Alves. “That's where uninterruptible power supplies (UPS) come in. They are essential for maintaining the load and keeping equipment running, eliminating the risk of data loss. High-risk loads, such as monitoring computers, automation systems, and hospital equipment, are critical systems that require continuous protection to operate with complete safety.”
Market-Driven Innovation: The Success of Modular Systems
Reflecting its ability to actively listen and quickly adapt to market needs, Lacerda Sistemas highlighted its line of modular uninterruptible power supplies (UPS) in the pavilion. The portfolio, geared towards more robust loads, saw its development accelerated precisely because of demands identified with buyers at the previous trade show.
“We started noticing a high demand for modular systems within the pavilion last year, when we were just beginning a project. Thanks to this direct feedback from customers, we invested heavily in this line, bringing ready-made solutions for this year, and the result was excellent, translating into great sales of modular equipment during the event,” points out the executive. The versatility of the company's catalog allows it to serve everything from large banking infrastructures, large supermarket chains and data centers, to gate automation and residential monitoring (home office) applications.
National Connection and Strategic Post-Fair
Because it serves clients throughout the country, Lacerda Sistemas used the event in São Paulo as its main strategic point to strengthen direct, face-to-face relationships with partners from other states.
With the event now closed, the brand is launching a planned post-event task force to qualify the large volume of registrations generated. “Because we received so many people, the volume of leads is massive. Our sales team will now dedicate the next few weeks to detailed screening and converting these contacts into new business,” explains Vinícius Alves, who projects a strong second half of the year and is already studying the expansion of technology for even larger loads at the next edition of the fair.
