This Tuesday, May 23rd, marked the beginning of the 20th edition of EXPOSEC | International Security Fair.
The official opening was attended by authorities and representatives of industry associations. Among them were the General Commander of the Metropolitan Civil Guard – Adelson de Souza; the President of the Union of Escort Companies of the State of São Paulo (SEMMESP) – Autair Iuga; the Deputy Secretary of Urban Security – Heni Ozi Cukier; the President of the National Federation of Security and Transport of Valuables Companies (Fenavist) – Jeferson Furlan Nazário; the President of the Union of Private Security, Electronic Security and Training Course Companies of the State of São Paulo (SESVESP) – João Eliezer Palhuca; the President of the International Club of Transport Insurance (CIST) – José Geraldo da Silva; and the President of the Brazilian Association of Security and Surveillance Companies (ABREVIS) – José Jacobson Neto. The Municipal Secretary of Urban Security – José Roberto Rodrigues de Oliveira and the President of the Union of Industries of Electrical, Electronic and Similar Equipment of the Vale da Eletrônica (SINDVEL) – Roberto de Souza Pinto.
At the ceremony, Rimantas Sipas, Commercial Director of Cipa Fiera Milano, emphasized the importance of this edition of the event. “"We are celebrating 20 consecutive editions"”. In an emotional speech, the executive thanked the marketing and operations teams, and all the employees of Cipa Fiera Milano who dedicated themselves to making this the best edition ever. “We are going to deliver the best possible trade fair to exhibitors and visitors. It has been years of work to get here. In addition to the products, there are seven auditoriums with free lectures focused on safety and debates promoted by exhibitors and industry experts.”. Rimantas also expressed gratitude for the partnership of visitors and exhibitors who have been part of EXPOSEC's success story.
Next, the floor was given to Selma Migliori, President of ABESE | Brazilian Association of Electronic Security Systems Companies. “I am honored to open the 20th edition of EXPOSEC today, which boasts impressive numbers as it reaches this milestone. There are 800 exhibitors, in 40,000 m2 of space, with an estimated audience of 42,000 visitors. This is a true reflection of the market's evolution, and today, here at the fair, we will have the privilege of encountering not only the history but also the future of our market. Established as a technological stage for the electronic security sector, EXPOSEC evolves each year, bringing solutions developed by the main market players. The fair hosts the richest discussions in the sector's development, seen in the numerous launches and spaces dedicated to content events and professional development, with an intense program of lectures from entities and exhibitors.
