The 29th Brazilian Security Congress addresses trends and best practices.

Within an international context, case studies, insights from renowned experts, advanced technologies to minimize risks, and effective strategies to combat attacks in the digital world will be presented. The congress takes place at the São Paulo Expo Exhibition & Convention Center from May 22nd to 24th.

Registrations can be made through the website. www.exposec.com.br, no link “Programming”, as the congress is an integral part of EXPOSEC, the largest security fair in Brazil, organized by Cipa Fiera Milano and carried out by ABESE – Brazilian Association of Electronic Security Systems Companies. COBRASE will promote discussions on attack prevention, minimizing the risks of digital crimes, and analyzing new resources and technologies used in security management in shopping centers.

“We will present tools and the integration of technologies as a means for operational security in shopping centers and the importance of monitoring the points of greatest vulnerability by the central office,” says the director of the Corporación Euro Americana de Seguridad – CEAS Brazil, Antônio Alves Mota, who opens the second day of the congress.

Participating executives will also be able to exchange experiences on changes in strategic security planning in Smart Cities; learn about integrated solutions for smart building security and how the Internet of Things will benefit private security; and analyze effective strategies for the security of residential condominiums.

Among the speakers were professionals from CEAS Internacional, Opice Blum Advogados, Brasiliano INTERISK, Academia Internacional de Lenguaje No Verbal, CRUZER ACB, NRM Consult, Intelbras Segurança, Fórum Brasileiro de Segurança Pública, Watson IoT Enterprise Architect IBM GBS Brazil.

Parallel events

Also within EXPOSEC, there are other parallel events aimed at offering visitors the maximum amount of quality information. On May 22nd, from 9 am to 12 pm, the course [course name] will be held. Vulnerability Mapping in Enterprise Security By security consultant and editor of Security Magazine, Luiz Carlos Gabriel. The main objective is to identify the security management process and preventive procedures capable of mitigating the risks inherent to businesses. Furthermore, it seeks to provide theoretical and practical knowledge on how to map the real situation of vulnerability in business security, applying corrective measures economically to eliminate or mitigate risks.

On May 23rd and 24th, from 9 am to 1 pm, ESS – Escola Superior de Segurança, in partnership with Cipa Fiera Milano, will host the event. 1st ESS Congress on Security and Hospitality, focusing on hospitals, shopping centers, and hotels. Among the planned presentations are contingency plans for major catastrophes, a master plan aligned with safety, and integration between public agencies for security in the vicinity of facilities. To date, speakers from Hospital das Clínicas, Albert Einstein Hospital, Beneficência Portuguesa Hospital, and the Eldorado and Vila Olímpia shopping malls have been confirmed.

And on May 24th, from 2 PM to 6 PM, the event will take place. 1st International Meeting of CEAS Certified Professionals. The first lecture is by Sandra Alves, Director of Relationship Management at Brasiliano INTERISK, on "The Importance of Risk Management for Security Managers"; followed by a presentation by the president of the same institution, Antônio Celso Brasiliano, entitled "The Importance of Building Risk Scenarios for the Private and Public Security Sector"; and, finally, a workshop restricted to all professionals certified by CEAS.
