Presentations covering a wide range of security methodologies and approaches will be given by professionals with extensive academic, military, and consulting experience.
São Paulo, March 2018 The Cobrase – Brazilian Security CongressThe event will include lectures on the global security landscape in the face of terrorism, protection of residential condominiums, and lie detection. These are some of the highlights of the program, which will promote best practices in the sector. The event takes place from May 22nd to 24th at the São Paulo Expo Exhibition & Convention Center. Interested professionals can register on the website. www.cobrase.com.br.
The CEO of CEAS Internacional – Corporación Euro-Americana de Seguridad, Eloy de Melendre y Carrera, will open the congress with the theme "Global Panorama of Corporate Security." He will focus on terrorism, violence, and environmental impact, presenting unprecedented figures on suicide attacks worldwide and how this changes the landscape for companies, also considering the economic crisis and demographic and religious expansion.
“The factors that will affect business security will be control over information, technological advances, and the frequent flow of data between parties. Global prospects are not very reassuring, as more adaptations, training, and investments will be necessary to effectively achieve security in the workplace,” he emphasizes. Carrera hopes to share with industry professionals the latest trends in thought on the subject and the 4D approach, a new stage in scenario evaluation where time is added to height, width, and depth.
Colonel Antonio Carlos Biagioni, director of CRUZER ACB, who was responsible for community policing in the city of São Paulo for 23 years, will give a presentation focused on "Projects, audits, and effective strategies for the security of residential condominiums." The expert will discuss auditing the strengths and weaknesses of the complex, ways to develop a simple security project, and how to apply techniques to eliminate the problems found with a different approach.
Biagioni will seek to provoke reflection among building managers and other participants in order to change their behavior from orthodox to current, fast, coherent, and safe. In this way, they will be able to better understand the costs of employing technology, using systems, employing auxiliary means, and, above all, the effective training for the human personnel responsible for security.
In the case of the lecture “Lie Detection Based on Nonverbal Language and Facial Microexpressions,” given by psychoanalyst and master in neurolinguistic programming Daltro Feil, the methodology will be unique. He will address the main motivations of a liar, how to track falsehoods through discourse analysis and nervous system responses, ways to ask exploratory questions, and the process for detecting deception.
“Lying is part of human communication. Detecting lies that can harm us is good for any company's business and for the health of personal and professional relationships,” he explains. Feil, who also holds a master's degree in Military Operations, hopes that by the end of his presentation, each professional in the audience will be better equipped to read people in order to avoid relationships based on lies, including inadvertently placing them in important positions.
Cobrase will cover a wide range of security areas of interest, such as methods and techniques, public and private services, corporate networks, applied technology, intelligence generation, management, shopping centers, hotel networks, smart cities and buildings, case studies, and the Internet of Things. As an integral part of Exposec – International Security Fair, Cobrase is organized by Cipa Fiera Milano and produced by Abese – Brazilian Association of Electronic Security Systems Companies.
