The Military Police, the São Paulo State Fire Department, Brasil Drones, SegurPro, and Hikvision do Brasil will be giving demonstrations with state-of-the-art drones.
São Paulo, May 2018A Arena Drone from the Exposec, The largest technological showcase in Latin America for the security sector will present some of the most modern equipment currently used in various segments around the world. The demonstrations, which will include aerial filming, anti-drone systems, speed competitions, and even give the public the opportunity to pilot the equipment, will take place from May 22nd to 24th, from 2 PM to 7 PM, at São Paulo Expo. Spaces are limited and registration will be on a first-come, first-served basis.
“The use of drones in the security field has great potential in Brazil, especially when we consider the speed at which these devices have been developing in recent years and becoming increasingly accessible to law enforcement agencies in various countries,” highlights Rimantas Sipas, director of Cipa Fiera Milano, organizer and promoter of Exposec in partnership with Abese – Brazilian Association of Electronic Security Systems Companies.
Real Games, an entertainment company focused on innovation and technology, will be responsible for the arena's activities. According to director Rodrigo Panassolo, the Military Police, the São Paulo State Fire Department, Brasil Drones, SegurPro, and Hikvision Brazil will participate. “After the demonstrations, which each institution and company will define, we will hold a drone 'race' and allow members of the public to pilot aircraft within an obstacle course.‘.
Drones with full stability control and infrared sensors that can simulate aerial battles and other challenges complete the possibilities within the arena. Drones Brasil will use the DJI Inspire 2, Phantom 4 PRO, and the newly launched Mavic Air in the demonstrations. “Drones, equipped with advanced code, artificial intelligence, and high data processing capacity, represent the materialization of the intangible evolution of the industry, being able to perform physical tasks autonomously or remotely controlled,” he explains. Villares' perspective is that the Brazilian market will increasingly accept drones and that regulations will evolve, allowing for more efficient autonomous flight activities.
