Exposec, the international security trade fair considered the largest and most comprehensive in Latin America, will feature new products and services from May 21st to 23rd, 2019 at São Paulo Expo, showcasing the main innovations and technological trends for the electronic, private, personal, property, public, and corporate security segments.
Promoted by Cipa Fiera Milano in partnership with ABESE (Brazilian Association of Electronic Security Systems Companies), Exposec grows stronger with each edition. In 2018, the fair attracted 45,000 visitors, compared to 42,000 the previous year. An even larger audience is expected at the next event, which will bring together innovations from more than 800 brands in 40,000 square meters of exhibition space. “Electronic security is going through a disruptive moment that opens up space for even greater growth in the sector, with the emergence of new solutions, the breaking of old business models and, above all, the integration of technologies. We will, more than ever, bring solutions and people closer together, creating an intelligent and integrated environment. And the companies that are keeping up with this evolution will be present at Exposec,” says Selma Migliori, president of ABESE, adding that the security segment should generate more than R$6 billion in 2018.
Exposec also stands out for the quality of its audience. According to a survey conducted among visitors to the 2018 edition, 981,300 of them indicated the fair as an excellent opportunity to discover new products and trends. Furthermore, 971,300 of those surveyed considered that the event provided excellent opportunities for business prospecting and networking. “The numbers confirm the market's confidence in Exposec, which has been growing each year,” adds Rimantas Sipas, commercial director of Cipa Fiera Milano.
Smart São Paulo Island
A major attraction at the event will be the São Paulo Smart Program Island. The space will house a replica of the revolutionary preventative security project being implemented in the Hospital das Clínicas area of São Paulo.
The area surrounding the health complex, with a total area of 600,000 m2 and a daily flow of 45,000 people, is receiving a system that integrates video surveillance technologies, IoT (Internet of Things), and the intelligence of the Military Police, the Civil Police, and the Traffic Engineering Company (CET). This initiative is part of the São Paulo Inteligente program, carried out by ABESE, based on the integration of public security with electronic security.
On the island, the public will be able to watch demonstrations of the new platform's operation, with analyses and simulations. "We will have the largest Health Quadrilateral in Latin America within the largest Electronic Security fair in Latin America," says Selma.
Diverse programming
Exposec 2019 will still maintain an intense schedule of congresses and parallel events. Among them, highlights include Exposhow, where exhibitors present their latest products and services; the Drone Arena, with demonstrations of the application of remotely piloted aerial vehicles in security tasks; and the ABESE Startup Island, where early-stage companies can showcase potentially innovative solutions for the electronic security market.
