Featured at Exposec 2019, the Nice Hi-Speed line is the speed solution combined with the tradition, durability, and performance of Peccinin's already established line of motors.
São Paulo, January 2019 – With the goal of ensuring security during entry and exit from home, one of the moments when people are most vulnerable to criminal activity, Nice Brasil brings to the market the Nice Hi-Speed family of high-speed automation systems, with product versions for a wide range of applications, from residential to industrial.
The products will be on display at Exposec – International Security Fair, which arrives at your 22nd edition in 2019. The fair is organized by Cipa Fiera Milano, and it happens that May 21st to 23rd at São Paulo Expo.
Within the Hi-Speed family, Nice is launching the HSC version, developed to meet applications that require a higher operating cycle and product durability, characteristics mainly demanded in condominiums, hence the acronym HSC which stands for Hi-Speed & Cycle. The new Ultra i-HSC gate opener for swing gates, which closes the gate in just 4 seconds and features the technology of the new Sprint 3F inverter, is already available on the market.
According to David Girelli, marketing manager at Nice Brazil, the Hi-Speed line complements Nice's portfolio in Brazil and fills a gap in the market for reliable products with mechanical robustness and high-speed opening and closing. The Hi-Speed line is an excellent option for condominiums and high-traffic areas. "With the Sprint 3F inverter technology, the electronic gates have become smarter and faster than ever, providing greater security with less waiting time," he explained.
The Ultra i-HSC overhead door is the first product in the high-speed family with an intelligent inverter and features several functions, such as electronic braking, photocell closing, configuration for open-only and close-only push buttons, partial opening, and interlock function. The soft-close stop of the overhead doors and the anti-crushing system configuration also ensure the safety of children and pets.
“We apply the most modern and reliable technology available worldwide in terms of high-performance industrial inverters,” explains Eduardo Bueno, R&D manager at Nice Brasil. The Hi-Speed automation line has versions with and without inverters, depending on the application requirements and installation characteristics.
In addition to its simple setup, the Sprint 3F inverter features automatic learning of the motor's opening and closing direction and limit switch – without the need to reverse wires, memory compatible with current Peccinin control units, and a configurable function for use on gates that open outwards or inwards, in compliance with São Paulo municipal legislation.
Other distinguishing features of the Nice Sprint 3F inverter include automatic voltage selection (127/220V), robustness through the use of a power module instead of discrete components, detachable terminals that facilitate installation, auxiliary relay, automatic temperature protection, surge protection on push-button/photocell inputs, isolation of the power and control section, speed protection, adjustable anti-crushing feature, and the possibility of programming remote control buttons in open-only/close-only/stop-only/partial-opening modes.
With storage for up to 250 remote controls, the new Ultra i-HSC gate opener is the ideal solution for condominiums and homes seeking speed without compromising on security, reliability, and intelligence.
