The company's technologies are a highlight at Exposec, which takes place from May 21st to 23rd in São Paulo.
São Paulo, January 2019 – Leaving your house empty while traveling, especially during vacation periods, is a major concern. According to data from the São Paulo State Public Security Secretariat (SSP/SP), organized gangs attack a residence every three days. Therefore, to enjoy vacations and trips with peace of mind, some preventative measures can be taken to increase the security of empty homes.
During the Exposec – International Security Fair, which arrives at your 22nd edition In 2019, visitors will be able to discover various technologies from Nice that make homes safer and more connected. The fair is organized by Cipa Fiera Milano, and it happens that May 21st to 23rd.
1) Home Alarm
Modern and affordable, home alarms are essential for anyone seeking greater security for their residence. With this system, the risk of theft decreases, since in suspicious situations, the alarms trigger and emit a loud sound. Currently, there are various types of alarms available on the market, with the most modern ones connected to the network/Wi-Fi and sending notifications via a mobile app, such as Nice's Cloud Alarm. In addition to the alarm function, this security system also enables home automation to turn equipment on and off, such as the front light, electric fence, gate opener, heated pool, or an appliance. Everything can be done using either a conventional remote control or the user-friendly and intuitive mobile app.
2) Electronic gates
In recent years, the increase in robberies during entry and exit from homes by car has made electronic gates no longer an optional item, but an indispensable one for those seeking greater home security. However, criminals have created new ways to break into and damage these devices. Therefore, the security market has developed several products and devices to hinder the actions of intruders. Developed by Nice, the Nice Hi-Speed gate automation line guarantees gate closing in just 4 seconds, reducing the waiting time to enter and exit the house.
3) Infrared Sensors
Active Infrared (IVA) sensors are excellent for homeowners concerned with aesthetics, as they have no visible wires. These devices are installed with an alarm system and, when triggered, create a virtual infrared barrier and sound an alarm if an intrusion is detected. Nice's IVA sensors can also be used in conjunction with electric fences.
4) Electric Fence Energizers
Activated by buttons or remote control, electric fence energizers are considered an effective solution with excellent cost-benefit. This type of equipment can also be installed with a siren that sounds when it detects an attempted intrusion, as well as a dialer, which allows dialing a pre-programmed phone number in case an intruder is detected.
