Arena Drone will showcase the application of the equipment in property security.

System integration with company strategy will be one of the highlights of the 22nd edition of Exposec 2019.

São Paulo, January 2019 The efficiency of UAVs (Unmanned Aerial Vehicles), or drones as they are popularly known, is already widely recognized in corporate security strategy. During the Exposec 2019 – International Security Fair, The latest developments and technological advancements of this equipment will be presented at Arena Drone, where those interested can participate in the Drone Experience, in which they will have the opportunity to fly various professional models for free and watch demonstrations from exhibitors during the three days of the exhibition.

According to a survey by the FAA (Federal Aviation Administration) in the United States, by 2020 there will be approximately 7 million drones in the air worldwide. In Brazil, it is estimated that there are currently more than 100,000 drones in operation, with at least 12,000 people using these devices to provide services, according to data from ANAC (National Civil Aviation Agency).

ANAC currently has 60,000 drones registered, comprising 20,000 pieces of equipment and nearly 3,000 registered companies/institutions for commercial applications. The sector employs thousands of people and generated over R$ 300 million in 2018.

With increasingly refined systems and high-quality images, drones can make a difference in property security monitoring.  Better known in the professional sector as RPAS (Remotely Piloted Aircraft System), they are mainly used for monitoring large areas.

It is a useful piece of equipment, for example, for monitoring security in rural and industrial areas. In these locations, ground operations are very time-consuming, require long journeys, and involve many professionals. With the drone, images are transmitted in real time to a monitoring center, and it is possible to send an on-site team to the ground only for incidents that require intervention.

Diverse programming

Exposec 2019 will still maintain an intense schedule of congresses and parallel events. Among them, the following stand out: Exposhow, where exhibitors present their latest products and services; a ABESE Startup Island, where early-stage companies can showcase potentially innovative solutions for the electronic security market and Smart São Paulo Island, which will house a replica of the revolutionary preventive security project that is being implemented in the Hospital das Clínicas region, in the city of São Paulo.

Also occurring 2nd ESS Congress – Safety in Hospitality, This event is designed for professionals who want to stay up-to-date on security in hospitals, shopping malls, hotels, parks, concert halls, arenas, and other venues. It will bring together leading experts in the field and showcase success stories. 1st Congress on Security in Condominiums which will offer important content from experts on the subject.

Promoted by Cipa Fiera Milano in partnership with ABESE (Brazilian Association of Electronic Security Systems Companies), Exposec grows stronger with each edition. In 2018, the fair attracted 45,000 professionals from the sector, compared to 42,000 the previous year.
