Six startups will be selected for the event.
For the third consecutive year, Abese is launching a program to select startups in the electronic security sector, or related fields, with the goal of identifying and promoting innovative businesses. The selected companies will participate in the Startup Island at the largest security fair in Latin America, Exposec, which takes place from April 14th to 16th at São Paulo Expo.
Startups that enroll in the program will also be able to participate in the activities of the association's Startup Committee, a group that promotes interactions between companies, business rounds, mentoring, and other initiatives for companies with this profile.
According to Selma Migliori, president of Abese, the program represents an opportunity for startups that want to accelerate their growth, considering the visibility of Exposec, which receives more than 45,000 people during the three days of the fair. "Exposec is a fundamental showcase for startups to gain prominence in the electronic security market," she states.
The president of Abese points out that well-known companies in the market launched at Exposec, such as Bairro Seguro, Zelo Protege, and others that had the opportunity to participate in the startup area.
Edson Pacheco, coordinator of the Startup Committee at Abese, highlights that in addition to the opportunity to participate in the island at Exposec, startups can integrate the actions that will be promoted by the Committee throughout 2020, even those that are not selected for the electronic security fair.
