In an autograph session, which will be held on May 23rd, starting at 2:00 PM, during the EXPOSEC | International Security Fair, Diógenes Lucca, a veteran Lieutenant Colonel of the São Paulo State Military Police and one of the founders of GATE (Special Tactical Actions Group of the Military Police), and Roberto Costa, Director of DESEG – the Security Department of FIESP, are releasing the book "Security is a Lifestyle." The authors discuss security as an important element that enhances quality of life, addressing concepts and circumstances that negatively impact how people think about security and helping to correct that course.
In his book, "Diary of a Police Officer – The Underworld of Crime Narrated by a GATE Commander," Lucca reveals cases that marked the country's police history and recounts the behind-the-scenes stories of over 100 hostage release negotiations in which he participated during his 30 years in the Military Police, much of that time spent in command of GATE.
The event also anticipates and promotes the 28th COBRASE | Brazilian Private Security Congress, which takes place on May 24th, Wednesday, from 2 pm to 7 pm, featuring the authors as speakers in discussions about security as a lifestyle; leadership in high-performance companies; the importance of personal security during times of crisis; and the growing need for private security.
