Exposec, the most important event in the electronic security sector, presents innovations for a growing market.

Revenue for this year could reach R$$5.6 billion in Brazil.

From May 12th to 14th, 2015, the city of São Paulo will host the largest electronic security event in Latin America, EXPOSEC – International Security Fair, at the São Paulo Expo Exhibition & Convention Center. Over three days, more than 10,000 items in electronic security, information security, public safety, fire prevention and fighting will be presented.

According to the American NGO Social Progress Imperative, which maintains a ranking of quality of life in 132 countries (Social Progress Index), violence is one of the most critical issues in Brazil. Among the main aspects analyzed is personal security, in which the country appears as the 11th most insecure in the world. “Electronic security systems are instruments that provide information and are essential in preventive work,” explains Selma Migliori, president of ABESE (Brazilian Association of Electronic Security Systems Companies).

According to data from ABESE, the electronic security systems segment alone generated R$5.1 billion in revenue in 2014. The forecast for 2015 is an increase of R$101. The segment comprises 22,000 companies and generates 220,000 direct jobs and more than 2 million indirect jobs.

“EXPOSEC is the most important event in the electronic security sector in Latin America. For the 2015 edition, integrated solutions, equipment and services for all needs will be presented,” says Marco Antônio Mastrandonakis, director of the Fiera Milano Group.

According to Selma Migliori, EXPOSEC “is a unique opportunity to connect with the most advanced technology, services, and information on electronic security in the country. It is also a meeting point for generating business, as it brings together the biggest players in the segment.”.

Organized by Fiera Milano and presented by ABESE (Brazilian Association of Electronic Security Systems Companies), the 18th edition will feature 700 national and international exhibitors in an area of 30,000 m2, bringing together more than 38,000 professionals from the sector who will check out the latest technological innovations and global trends in electronic equipment and systems for alarms, biometrics, CCTV, access controls, cutlery, fire detection, detectors, communication equipment, monitoring equipment and services, wireless equipment, integrator products and systems, perimeter protection, personal security, identification systems, vehicles and special transport.

Parallel Events: TecnoMultimedia InfoComm Brazil

In its second edition in Brazil, TecnoMultimedia InfoComm will showcase technological advancements in the professional audio, video, and lighting integration industry. Key exhibitors include brands such as Panasonic, Casio, Epson, Philips Brazil, Samsung, Sony, LG, and others. The conference is organized by AVI Latin America magazine and the InfoComm Internationale association. In addition to showcasing exhibitors' innovations, TecnoMultimedia InfoComm Brazil will also feature a daily program with renowned experts giving lectures on technology, market trends, and technical presentations.
