What is the state of the electronic security market in Brazil?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Even with the impacts of the economic and political crisis that the country is currently going through, the <strong>The electronic security market continues to register growth rates.<\/strong>.This occurs due to a combination of several factors. On the one hand, there is the commitment of business owners to invest in finding alternatives to face the challenges of the crisis, seeking to make their companies increasingly competitive through investments in the development of new technologies, product and service quality, training, and production capacity. On the other hand, there are the opportunities generated by the reduction in security investments by federal, state, and municipal governments, which end up stimulating private investment, the easier access to new technologies in this area, the need for individuals and companies to continue investing in preventive security and updating existing systems, and the reduction in imports caused by the rise in the exchange rate.<\/p>\n<p><strong>2. For ABESE, it will also be a great opportunity to showcase the results of the work it has been developing over its 20 years of activity, seeking professionalization, training, and regulation of the sector \u2013 actions that have been fundamental to the consolidation and strengthening of this market. It will also be a chance to encourage entrepreneurs who are not yet ABESE members to join so that, together and organized, we can further increase our representation before public bodies and private sector entities in defending the interests of our segment.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>7 \u2013 Outlook for the sector.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong>Our segment has good prospects. In this context, I would like to highlight the work being developed by ABESE&#039;s sectoral technical chambers, which, during this year&#039;s Exposec, will present to the market the process for the professional certification of specialized consultants and the analysis and validation of electronic security companies. From an institutional perspective, it is worth highlighting the work developed during the 20 years of our entity&#039;s activity, which resulted in the establishment of 19 unions throughout the country and FENABESE (Interstate Federation of Electronic Security Systems Companies), ratified in 2015. It is also important to mention ABESE&#039;s work with the legislative branch, which included the regulation of electronic security activity on the voting agenda of the Chamber of Deputies and its appropriate positioning in the text of Bill 4.238\/12, which establishes the Private Security Statute.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>8 \u2013 Industry figures.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong>The electronic security systems segment recorded, in 2015, <strong>6% revenue growth compared to 2014<\/strong>, <strong>reaching R$ 5.4 billion.<\/strong> It is worth highlighting, in this context, that the national industry of <strong>alarm systems<\/strong> obtained a <strong>growth of 15%<\/strong> in its revenue during the same period.
