Among the highlights of the second day was the panel \u201cPrivate Security Statute: The New Regulation and its Impacts on the Services Market\u201d, which brought reflections on the advances of the new legislation and the challenges for its implementation.<\/p>\n<p>Moderated by Selma Migliori, president of ABESE (Brazilian Association of Electronic Security Systems Companies), the debate brought together Denise Ten\u00f3rio, from the Federal Police; Cl\u00e9ria Santos, from FENAVIST; Cesar Borges, from FEBRABAN; and Silvio Oliveira, vice-president of ABCFAV.<\/p>\n<p>One of the main points discussed was the expectation surrounding the publication of the regulatory decree for the Private Security Statute, a step considered fundamental to consolidating the changes foreseen in the legislation and guaranteeing legal security for companies and professionals in the sector.<\/p>\n<p>Participants highlighted that the new regulations should boost the professionalization of the market and contribute to reducing informality. During the panel, it was expressed that, within three years of the full implementation of the law, the sector will be able to make significant progress in combating clandestine operations.<\/p>\n<p>According to Selma Migliori, the adaptation of companies will be conducted gradually and will have the support of representative entities to ensure a safe and efficient transition.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe will encourage, support, and guide companies throughout this adaptation process. The goal is for the market to grow in a structured way, strengthening compliance, professionalization, and legal security for all involved,\u201d he stated.<\/p>\n<p>Technological evolution also played a central role in the discussions. Artificial intelligence, remote access control, automation, intelligent monitoring, and the integration of physical and digital systems were identified as increasingly strategic elements for modern security.<\/p>\n<p>Representing FEBRABAN, Cesar Borges highlighted the importance of technology as a tool to support security operations.<\/p>\n<p>\u201c&quot;Technology supports electronic security,&quot; he stated, highlighting the growing convergence between digital innovation and asset protection.<\/p>\n<p>The advancement of connectivity and artificial intelligence has also brought to the forefront the need to strengthen investments in cybersecurity, considered essential to protect critical data, systems, and infrastructure in an increasingly digital landscape.<\/p>\n<p>Another relevant topic was the qualification of professionals in the sector. For Silvio Oliveira, vice-president of ABCFAV, the regulation inaugurates a new stage for the training of specialized labor in electronic security.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe biggest challenge will be transforming electronics professionals into security professionals. We need to expand their training, strengthen the identity of these workers, and prepare them for an increasingly technological and integrated market,\u201d he explained.<\/p>\n<p>According to him, artificial intelligence is already part of discussions about new training models and should gain increasing space in vocational training programs, keeping pace with the rapid evolution of technologies used by the sector.<\/p>\n<p>The second day&#039;s program also included reflections on global security challenges and the importance of anticipating threats. During the Exposhow, General Matsuda, from A\\SENSE, presented the lecture &quot;The Future of Defense Lies in Anticipation: Intelligence and Innovation Applied to the Defense of Complex Perimeters&quot;.<\/p>\n<p>When discussing the international landscape and the constantly evolving risks faced by governments, businesses, and organizations, the expert highlighted that the ability to anticipate threats has become one of the key differentiators of modern security strategies.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cToday, more than ever, anticipation means the ability to avoid being surprised. Organizations need to be proactive, not just reactive. Intelligence is precisely the ability to observe events and identify signals that allow us to predict future scenarios and make more efficient decisions,\u201d he stated.<\/p>\n<p>According to General Matsuda, technological advancements enhance prevention capabilities, but do not replace the human role in operations.<\/p>\n<p>\u201c&quot;The more technologically advanced we become, the more we depend on people. The best results come from the integration of technology, processes, and skilled professionals,&quot; he emphasized.<\/p>\n<p>At the end of the presentation, the General received a tribute in recognition of his professional career and contributions to the development of security and defense solutions.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to the debates, the second day of EXPOSEC maintained strong activity in the pavilions, with technological demonstrations, product launches, business meetings, and intense public participation in the content arenas.<\/p>\n<p>According to Augusto de Avelar Andrade, Director of Portfolio and International Sales at Fiera Milano Brasil, the trade fair has been fulfilling its role as the main meeting point for the security industry.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe outlook is extremely positive. The event is experiencing high traffic, with crowded aisles, busy booths, and a very favorable environment for conducting business. Manufacturers, distributors, integrators, and end users are taking advantage of the fair to learn about new technologies, exchange experiences, and build strategic relationships for the development of the sector,\u201d he stated.<\/p>\n<p>According to the executive, the relevance of EXPOSEC goes far beyond the exhibition of products and services.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cEXPOSEC is the ecosystem where the industry meets to present new products, discuss trends, and share knowledge. Fundamental debates for the future of the sector take place here, such as discussions about the Private Security Statute and the technological evolution of the market. The fair&#039;s mission is to promote business, networking, professional development, and growth for the entire security chain,\u201d he highlighted.<\/p>\n<p>With hundreds of exhibitors and a program
