With each edition, EXPOSEC's growth prospects are confirmed, with positive numbers indicating the success of the partnership between Cipa Fiera Milano and ABESE.<\/p>\n

A EXPOSEC |\u00a0<\/strong>International Security Fair<\/strong> It will celebrate its 20th anniversary in 2017 and is among the world's leading trade fairs in the security sector. Organized by Cipa Fiera Milano <\/strong>in partnership with Brazilian Association of Electronic Security Systems Companies <\/strong>(ABESE), the annual meeting, reaches its 20th edition, From May 23rd to 25th, at S\u00e3o Paulo Expo.<\/strong>, in S\u00e3o Paulo, and offers exhibitors and visitors opportunities to discover new products, trends, and close good deals at the most important security event in Latin America.<\/p>\n

\u201c"EXPOSEC is currently the largest technological showcase in the segment."\u201d<\/em>, "The forecast for this year, according to the executive's estimate, is to gather an audience of ," comments Rimantas Sipas, Commercial Director of Cipa Fiera Milano. 42 thousand people<\/strong> e 800 exhibiting brands<\/strong>. \u201c"What we have seen over the years is the consolidation of EXPOSEC as the main business-generating center for the segment and a meeting point for professionals from all over the country."\u201d<\/em>, the executive points out.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe closed 2016 with more than 26,000 electronic security systems companies installed throughout Brazil; the sector grew by 51%, but that doesn't mean it was an easy year. There were more difficulties in closing deals, and most companies had to rethink their management models to move forward. We started 2017 still facing the uncertainty of the Brazilian economic scenario; this is where EXPOSEC comes in, as a privileged space for fostering business in the sector, helping to envision new paths for those who need to review strategies and stimulating the growth of those who are doing well in the market.\u201d <\/em>comments Selma Migliori, President of the Brazilian Association of Electronic Security Systems Companies (ABESE).<\/p>\n

Since its inauguration in 1997, the level of demand and sophistication of services and products offered at the fair has only increased.\u201cThe entire field of electronic security has developed significantly in recent years, aligned with the modernization of communication and information technologies.,<\/em> Rimantas adds.<\/p>\n

EXPOSEC 20 YEARS OF SUCCESS: HOW IT ALL BEGAN <\/strong><\/p>\n

The story began with the creation of ABESE in 1995, when entrepreneurs in the electronic security systems sector felt the need to work together, creating an entity that, by representing the interests of many, would have more strength to promote the sector's development consistently. Among the initiatives was the creation of an exhibition where companies could exchange experiences and do business. Thus, EXPOSEC was born, held ever since in partnership with Cipa Fiera Milano, responsible for organizing the event. The partnership arose as a way to stimulate the industry's development, optimizing the results of EXPOSEC and its exhibitors throughout the year.<\/p>\n

The first EXPOSEC was held in 1997. The inaugural event featured 86 companies, many of which remain exhibitors at the fair to this day: Grupo Protege, Intelbras, JFL Alarmes, PPA, Prosegur, among other long-standing partners.<\/p>\n

\u201cAt that time, we wanted to create a technological demonstration platform so that visitors to the fair, companies providing electronic security services, could learn about the latest innovations and the most recent technologies that could be applied, so that they could bring increasingly higher quality and safer products to the end consumer. I believe that this objective was largely achieved; the fair continued to develop in this direction, consequently generating a large volume of business. I think this has been EXPOSEC's great contribution to the electronic security sector and to society.\u201d,<\/em> Selma Migliori adds.<\/p>\n

Over the past 20 years, the event has grown, consolidated partnerships, and gained international proportions, becoming the most important security trade show in Latin America. While the first edition had 86 exhibitors, today the event boasts no less than 800 exhibiting brands and brings together a highly qualified audience of 42,000 professionals in the field.<\/p>\n

In 2017, EXPOSEC will celebrate its achievements, accomplishments, and important partnerships established over these two decades. \u201cWe spare no effort to ensure the event has positive results. Partnerships help us foster initiatives and extend to associations, unions, entities, specialized publications, and of course, the exhibitors who accompany us on this successful journey.\u201d<\/em>, "That's all," Rimantas concludes.<\/p>\n

ABESE intends to invite more representatives from the public sector to the fair so that they can better understand the unique aspects of the sector, contributing to the evolution of regulatory and standardization processes. Another focus of the Association is to expand its activities in the area of technical training within the fair, that is, to offer visitors courses during the event, in partnership with SENAI and SEBRAE.\u00a0 \u201c"We want Exposec to become increasingly attractive and, in addition to fostering great business deals, to also serve as a platform for the professional development of those in this market.".<\/em><\/p>\n

To mark the 20th anniversary of EXPOSEC, ABESE will present a tribute to the history of the electronic security market at its booth this year, symbolized by an exhibition on the historical evolution of video surveillance cameras. This will be one of the tributes to this special date.<\/p>\n
