2019 was a year of new developments, changes, and experiments. During 2019, R$75,000 in prizes were raffled off, in reference to the association's 75th anniversary. The first winning scratch-off ticket was drawn for consumer Claudinei, who made his purchases at Freire Motos, winning the R$75 prize. Following his lucky streak, salesman Leonardo also won a prize.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt was the first winning scratch-off ticket, and the seller was also entitled to the prize. We adopted a computerized and automated system for registering customers. The scratch-off ticket registration automatically generates coupon numbers in the system with the consumer's data,\u201d explained manager F\u00e1bio Dias.<\/p>\n

May truly arrived in full force. In partnership with Sebrae Aqui de Gar\u00e7a, Acig held the "Na Medida Internet" course on May 8th, 9th, 15th, and 16th, 2019. Always mindful of commemorative dates, on May 11th, the day before Mother's Day, amidst the hustle and bustle that the second Saturday of the month brings, with many consumers on the streets, some complaining about the lack of parking spaces, others taking advantage of offers, and still others paying bills, the Commercial and Industrial Association of Gar\u00e7a \u2013 Acig \u2013 promoted the distribution of approximately 1,500 roses to mothers who were in the commercial center.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt\u2019s a time when we seek to honor mothers through the distribution of roses. More than just a commercial appeal, it\u2019s a very significant date; women, mothers, play a fundamental role in the family structure,\u201d said President Jo\u00e3o Francisco Galhardo.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe did so little. It was a rose, on a Saturday morning, but the joy was contagious. For us, the Acig team, it's as if we were giving gifts to our mothers, wives. What we have is respect and affection for all the mothers of Gar\u00e7a,\u201d said the manager, highlighting the emotion that marked the action.<\/p>\n

The Commercial and Industrial Association of Gar\u00e7a held a lecture on May 23rd entitled "Many want change, but few want to change." According to the association's manager, F\u00e1bio Dias, everything changes very quickly these days, and it's necessary to keep up with the entire process to avoid falling behind. The fact is that, despite everything, change brings disruption and challenges, and not everyone is willing to change.<\/p>\n
\u201cWhat used to work, doesn\u2019t always work anymore. We need to learn to deal better with change in order to take advantage of the opportunities that come with it. One of the main reasons that prevents us from better addressing the need for change is the fear of facing the new,\u201d said Dias.

According to manager F\u00e1bio Dias, the participation of entrepreneurs from Gar\u00e7a shows that, in a scenario where there is talk of crisis, knowledge makes all the difference.<\/p>\n
F\u00e1bio Dias pointed out that there is a concern, especially on the part of entrepreneurs, to invest in infrastructure, products, processes, technology, technical skills, machinery, and equipment. This is important, but it is well known that the performance of a leader makes all the difference, and those who study workplace relationships know very well that the leader is not always the boss.<\/p>\n
According to the president of Acig, Jo\u00e3o Francisco Galhardo, there are several situations that consume energy and prevent entrepreneurs from generating more profits.<\/p>\n

Consumer Juliana Madureira de Souza Moreno won the prize of five thousand reais on the Accredito Premium Card to spend in Gar\u00e7a's businesses. Juliana shopped at the Serve Todos Supermarket, which also produced the winner of the 500 reais prize, also drawn on May 15th.<\/p>\n
Taking stock of the first digital campaign carried out by Acig, Dias commented that, like any new thing, there was a moment of distrust and resistance, but there was also acceptance and overcoming of these challenges.<\/p>\n
\u201cMany were afraid of the distribution, but consumers themselves embraced it and saw the scratch-off coupon as a better opportunity, since they often left the traditional coupons lost in bags, drawers, and around the house. Many reported that they didn't like filling them out,\u201d said the manager.<\/p>\n

The Commercial and Industrial Association of Gar\u00e7a participated on May 23rd in the inauguration ceremony of the new board of directors of the Federation of Commercial Associations of S\u00e3o Paulo (Facesp), for the 2019-2020 term. Twenty vice-presidents of the FACESP Administrative Regions also took office. The president of ACIG, Jo\u00e3o Francisco Galhardo, and the manager, F\u00e1bio Dias, were present.<\/p>\n
\u201c"It was a very important moment, one of the most important ceremonies for our association, where we were able to honor President Alencar Burti, who left his position, and Alfredo Cotait Neto, from Gar\u00e7a, who assumed the presidency," said Galhardo.<\/p>\n

According to Samuel Peres, then Executive Director of PPA, in an interview given last year to the event organizers, the fair is a milestone for all security companies in Brazil.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe have been participating in Exposec for 20 years, since the first fair, and PPA has been present in every edition. In a journey where partnerships are necessary, the association in Gar\u00e7a follows the guidelines of Boa Vista Servi\u00e7os and, as manager F\u00e1bio Dias explained, aims to fulfill the basic principles for the development of its activities.<\/p>\n

According to the manager, during a meeting held on May 31st at the headquarters of the Commercial and Industrial Association of Mar\u00edlia, members of Boa Vista Servi\u00e7os presented FACESP information from Administrative Region 15 (RA). Contractual premises and the performance of the associations were shown. Information included: revenue growth (%), registration base growth (%), brand status, % incentivized products, and the status of incentivized products.
