Previously, the event was scheduled to take place from November 23-25 at S\u00e3o Paulo Expo.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>\u201cPrioritizing the health, well-being, and safety of exhibitors, visitors, suppliers, service providers, employees, and the entire civil society is a commitment of fundamental importance to us. Added to this is the insecurity caused by the volatility of the economy, a premise with which we also sympathize,\u201d states Maur\u00edcio Duval Macedo, general director of Cipa Fiera Milano.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>A survey conducted by Abese in April and May with industries, distributors, and service providers across the country, regarding the impacts of Covid-19 on the sector, recorded that 401,300 companies in the segment noticed an increase in demand for security solutions geared towards the new demands that arose due to the pandemic. According to the survey, among the most sought-after technologies during this period are thermal cameras and facial recognition.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>\u201cEven with the market heating up during the pandemic, we decided to postpone the in-person event to next year, as we want to protect all Exposec participants.
