The 23rd Exposec, which ended this Thursday (9), at S\u00e3o Paulo Expo, was a historic edition, a milestone for the electronic security sector in Brazil, reaffirming its importance for the entire production chain of security<\/a> The event was a hit in the country due to the new product launches and solutions presented during the three days of the event. This analysis comes from Maur\u00edcio Macedo, CEO of [Company Name]. Fiera Milano<\/a> Brazil, the organizer of the fair in partnership with ABESE \u2013 the Brazilian Association of Electronic Security Systems Companies, also highlighted that the event brought together 800 exhibiting brands and more than 48,800 visitors.<\/p>\n

According to ABESE's president, Selma Migliori, the large number of exhibitors and visitors at the fair demonstrates the sector's strength in the country. \u201cThe market's participation in this edition of Exposec is living proof of the strength of the recovery of security projects in Brazil and Latin America, and the resilience of our companies and professionals,\u201d she analyzed. \u201cThe volume of business generated at the fair, the qualification of the exhibitors and the public also exemplifies the new scenario of the Brazilian innovation ecosystem with the arrival of 5G and the indispensable character that smart solutions have acquired in the last two years. The highlight of the opening of Exposec 2022 was the signing of a memorandum of understanding between the Brazilian Association of Electronic Security Systems Companies and... Innovation Center of the University of S\u00e3o Paulo \u2013 Inova\/USP<\/strong>. The agreement aims to encourage research and development in the field of electronic security.<\/p>\n

The volume of deals closed or initiated exceeded the expectations of the participants in this edition. The product innovations presented by the companies, including the ABESE Arena Connect<\/strong>The participation of security managers, IoT experts, and startups was also one of the main attractions of the fair. According to the association, this is a strong indicator of growth in the sector, with investments in new technologies to serve the market with more efficient solutions.<\/p>\n

The venue offered, among its attractions, an auditorium for lectures with industry experts, as well as booths dedicated to market innovations, such as the Startup Island and the Innovation Island.<\/p>\n

Already Innovation Island<\/strong> It managed to achieve its goal of bringing research and development closer to companies in the electronic security sector. Participants included the Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Cear\u00e1 (IFCE), the Institute of Exponential Technologies (ITEX), the National Bank for Economic and Social Development \u2013 BNDES, Inova USP, the Center for Studies and Research of the North and Northeast (NEPEN), and the ABC Development Agency.<\/p>\n

Brands debut at Exposec<\/h2>\n

The presence of qualified visitors, in a higher-than-expected volume, pleased the exhibitors. And even though the main goal was to prospect new clients and plan future sales, many deals were closed during the three days of the fair.<\/p>\n

A Gocil Security and Multiservices, <\/strong>The company, which made its debut at Exposec, is quite satisfied with the results. Renata Marcial, the company's Marketing Manager, noted the massive public turnout. "We were delighted with the turnout on the very first day of the fair. I've visited Exposec in previous years, but I was surprised by the audience this year. It's great to see how the sector is regaining momentum, especially among players in the shopping mall market.".<\/p>\n

The large influx of people over the three days of the event also pleased... Vivensis<\/strong>. Chief Marketing Officer Patr\u00edcia Vital also noted that the audience was highly qualified. \u201cWe are pleasantly surprised by the high volume of people and the business synergy between security and telecommunications. With products becoming increasingly connected, our entertainment and connectivity solutions are becoming more and more integrated into the Exposec ecosystem,\u201d she explained. \u201cWe registered 140 visitors on the first day, but we know we couldn't register all the visitors who passed through the booth, so we estimate a flow of 500 to 700 people. We had more than 30 requests from new resellers of our products and services.\u201d.<\/p>\n

The woman from Paran\u00e1 Xelpon <\/strong>The company also came to Exposec to seek business opportunities. According to Marketing Manager Kelly Penteado, the company achieved its goal of getting closer to its target audience. \u201cBecause we are still a relatively unknown brand in the market, we chose this fair to increase our visibility. We are extremely satisfied with the contacts made; we received around 650 visits on the first day alone. Our goal is to find partners to market our security products such as access control and video intercoms.\u201d.<\/p>\n

But not everyone who attended Exposec was thinking about connecting with clients. The German company AP Sensing<\/strong>The company does not yet have a presence in the country, and according to Regional Sales Manager Daniel V\u00e1zquez, their participation in the fair served to prospect the Brazilian market. \u201cThis is the first time we have exhibited at Exposec and we are satisfied. We received many companies and made good contacts. We are prospecting the Brazilian market and we see that the security sector here has experienced significant growth during the pandemic, and this caught our attention.\u201d<\/p>\n

According to the company's Marketing Manager, Pedro Costa, the brand promotion and the launch of the new product went as planned.
