The leading international security trade show in Latin America will bring many new products and innovative solutions to companies and professionals in the sector.
São Paulo, March 2022 – Exposec – the International Security Fair, taking place from June 7th to 9th in São Paulo, brings to its 23rd edition innovations in products and services in the segments of private, personal, public, property, and corporate electronic security. The event organizers expect to gather around 800 exhibiting brands and receive 45,000 professionals from the sector.
The trade fair continues to be an important vector for discussing security, which has mobilized the attention of the media and the public. According to the Brazilian Association of Electronic Security Systems Companies – ABESE, the electronic security sector grossed R$9.24 billion in 2021, up from 2020. According to the association's president, Selma Migliori, these figures reflect the increased adoption of smart solutions during the pandemic, such as the implementation of... body cams (body cameras), equipment touchless and cameras with facial recognition and the use of masks, drones, fleet and vehicle tracking, as well as the resumption of projects that were stalled or that emerged in the last 12 months.
Organized by Fiera Milano Brasil, in partnership with ABESE, the in-person Exposec returns after two years. The fair, which is among the most important in the sector in Latin America, had an online version in 2020 and 2021 due to the coronavirus pandemic. For Maurício Macedo, general director of Fiera Milano Brasil, holding the two editions of Exposec Virtual “reinforced the commitment to bringing companies closer to industry professionals, to generate opportunities for new partnerships and business, making this a productive experience for everyone”.
With a more favorable environment and following all health protocols against COVID-19, Exposec returns to in-person events. “We were successful in innovating with virtual events. But there is a major difference when we bring brands and clients together in an exhibition hall. After all, in addition to presenting companies and professionals with innovations and trends in products and services, visiting B2B trade shows guarantees interpersonal relationships, which is the strong point of these events, generating effective business opportunities by promoting this closer connection,” analyzes Macedo.
ABESE's projections for 2022 indicate that sector growth will exceed 181%, with all segments on an upward curve. "At the beginning of the pandemic, 24-hour monitoring and tracking service companies suffered a very large impact, but the result of the last two years is that they reinvented themselves and maintained a stable average. With immunization and the safe return to in-person work, we are optimistic that the sector will achieve greater reach and volume of projects, which should boost growth," points out the association's president.
For Selma, holding Exposec is an important factor in guaranteeing this growth. “The return of in-person Exposec is essential for stimulating the generation of new business, providing updates on new technologies, products and services, professionalization, standardization and regulation of activities in the sector. It also contributes to increasing the positive visibility of exhibiting companies and the networking of participating professionals. It is our great technological stage.”.
