MySecurity, a mobile application that allows customers to monitor all activity on their security system via smartphone, is the new product being launched by Segware – a Santa Catarina-based company specializing in alarm monitoring software – at Exposec 2016.
The new version of MySecurity offers end customers the ability to monitor all activity on their security system via smartphone. Customers retain the 24/7 monitoring provided by operators at a control center and benefit from a range of advantages associated with the solution's functionalities, such as greater control and visibility of what is happening on the monitored property. The application features a new visual identity and interface, following the design and functionality standards being adopted for other solutions, such as Sigma Intelligence.
Present in Latin American countries such as Mexico, Colombia, Ecuador, and Costa Rica, Segware also focuses on the SaaS (software as a service) platform and presents the cloud version of Sigma – a solution developed under the concept of operating as an ecosystem: it is an integrating software that adds functionalities, visibility, and automation to the relationship between monitoring centers and the end customer, as well as with the technical team.
With the application of cloud-based software, smaller security companies can also offer the solution, since among the advantages of the cloud system are the reduction of infrastructure costs and the potential for scalability of the service. “The centralization of information and the use of a cohesive platform is what allows for constant gains and refinements in operational efficiency. With cloud operation, the system becomes even more accessible,” explains Luiz Henrique Bonatti, CEO of Segware.
