Wialon announces 3.6 million tracked vehicles in over 150 countries at Exposec 2023.

Vehicle number 3,600,000 connected is part of a fleet operated by Rastreasul, a Wialon partner.

In Exposec, International Security Fair held in São Paulo, the Wialon, [Company Name], a global fleet management platform, announced that it has reached a record number of 3.6 million fleet vehicles and assets connected to its platform worldwide, including more than 20,000 in Brazil.

Wialon provides fleet management and safety software solutions through more than 2,400 partner companies in over 150 countries. With more than two decades of experience in the telematics industry and the most comprehensive portfolio of solutions in the sector, Wialon has helped customers achieve significant cost savings and improve driver safety on a global scale. In Brazil, where the company has been present since 2011, more than 80 partner companies provide Wialon-based fleet management services to thousands of companies in various sectors, such as freight transport, delivery services, personal security, long-distance transport, cold chain transport, and agribusiness.

During his participation in Exposec, with the aim of finding Brazilian partners and clients, Aliaksandr Kuushynau stated: “The commercial vehicle segment in Brazil will grow rapidly in the next decade due to the expansion of agribusiness and e-commerce. This will have a positive impact on the telematics market, as these new vehicles represent opportunities for telematics service providers (TSPs), original equipment manufacturers, and startups to increase their market share. In Brazil, many vehicles are already connected to basic monitoring systems, but each year the demands of vehicle fleets increase, global experience advances, and local developers are not always able to meet the existing demand. Fleet management platforms like Wialon offer advanced solutions and more complex features.”.

Wialon offers a variety of security solutions for fleet management, helping companies in Brazil protect their vehicles and other assets. The platform's GPS tracking and geofencing technology, combined with remote vehicle disabling and the option to integrate security technologies, allows fleet managers to monitor their vehicles in real time and respond quickly to security and safety incidents.

For the first time at Exposec, Wialon built a shared IoT zone with our co-exhibitors: trusted telematics service providers, hardware manufacturers, and connectivity providers. The IoT zone is a 112-square-meter space where Wialon and leading players in the telematics industry showcased the latest and most proven products in the sector. They demonstrated their continued commitment to providing the latest technologies and advanced solutions for the security industry.

Joining Wialon at Exposec, Rastreasul, a Wialon partner that connected the 3,600,000th vehicle through the Wialon platform, commented on the benefits of fleet management software and telematics technology for Brazilian companies: “Brazil has the sixth largest fleet in the world, but also faces significant challenges such as poor road conditions, accidents, traffic congestion, and high maintenance costs. Fleet management software has become indispensable for Brazilian companies, offering numerous benefits such as cost reduction, operational efficiency, and, above all, safety. Furthermore, telematics and IoT technologies play a crucial role in ensuring driver safety. By monitoring driver behavior, such as speed, hard braking, and aggressive maneuvers, companies can identify risky driving patterns and take proactive measures to prevent accidents. Knowing that their actions are being monitored can motivate drivers to comply with traffic rules, maintain appropriate speeds, and practice defensive driving techniques. As a result, accidents caused by human error are significantly reduced.” reduced, promoting a safety culture in the fleet.

According to research report According to Triton, the automotive telematics market in Latin America is projected to grow at a compound annual growth rate of 15.29% from 2023 to 2030. Based on the growing demand for telematics solutions from companies worldwide, Wialon seized the opportunity to assist Brazilian companies in achieving their safety, efficiency, security, and compliance goals. With a successful participation in Exposec 2023, the company consolidates its role as a leader in the sector, providing reliable and innovative technology to the Brazilian market and beyond.

“The trade show provided an exceptional platform for us to showcase our fleet monitoring solutions and connect with industry professionals. We are committed to offering cutting-edge technologies that help Brazilian companies increase operational efficiency, enhance safety, and drive business growth. This is crucial for the fifth largest market in Latin America.”, adds Aliaksandr Kuushynau.
