The ABESE Sectoral Chamber for Technology Specification and Certification – CECTEC recently held its third in-person meeting of 2015 at the association's headquarters in São Paulo.
The meeting included representatives from various market segments: manufacturers such as Bosch, Genetec, Honeywell, HID, Schneider, Seventh, and Vicotek; integrators such as Avantia, Protege, and TP Solutions; monitoring companies such as Prodetech and Focusmind; as well as consultants and representatives from specialized media.
During the meeting, the coordinators of CECTEC – ABESE, Renato Prado and Cláudio Procida, reviewed the activities that the working groups have developed so far and explained how to access the content produced so that participating members can contribute with suggestions.
At the event, they announced that the professional certification process – the main focus of this chamber's work – will be presented to the market next year during EXPOSEC 2016, along with the first version of the best practice commissioning reference guide for electronic security systems projects.
At the end of the meeting, Renato and Cláudio emphasized the importance of the participation of company representatives in contributing to the results of the activities developed by CECTEC – ABESE.
