In its 23rd edition, Exposec – the International Security Fair – brings new perspectives and business opportunities for companies, entrepreneurs, startups, and professionals in the electronic, private, personal, public, property, and corporate security sectors.
Organized by Fiera Milano Brasil in partnership with ABESE – the Brazilian Association of Electronic Security Systems Companies – Exposec is recognized as the largest security trade show in Latin America.
The event will open this Tuesday at São Paulo Expo with 800 exhibiting brands and is expected to attract 45,000 industry professionals seeking new solutions in fleet management, remote access control, monitoring systems, security cameras, access controls, and other technologies in products and services that drive this market in Brazil.
A The opening ceremony is scheduled for 12:00 PM, in rooms 208B and 208C of the mezzanine at São Paulo Expo.. Representatives from the Federal, State, and Municipal governments are expected to attend the ceremony, which will also be attended by Secretaries of Public Security and the Military Police of the State of São Paulo. Guests will be welcomed by Maurício Duval Macedo, CEO of Fiera Milano Brasil, and Selma Migliori, president of ABESE, starting at 11:00 AM in room 208A, for a welcome coffee.
Data from ABESE reinforces the fair's potential to boost sales in the sector in the coming months.
In 2021, the sector's revenue reached R$9.2 billion, 141% more than the R$8.1 billion of 2020, and the association projects a growth of 18% for this year. To give you an idea, there are currently more than four thousand condominiums that already use remote concierge services, offered by more than 600 companies operating nationwide.
Furthermore, there are 13,000 companies responsible for monitoring more than 12 million properties across the country, representing approximately 171,300 homes that could potentially receive the technology. According to data from the association, the city of São Paulo alone currently has around 2.5 million surveillance cameras that contribute to the city's security.
