At the last edition of the EXPOSEC trade fair, which took place in May in São Paulo, Giga Security – a Brazilian manufacturer of CCTV and Access Control systems – presented two new product lines: Cable organizers for CCTV and computer racks.
The brand's goal is to diversify its product line, offering integrated solutions that provide even greater quality, ease of installation, and safety for its customers.
The new lines will be marketed through the brand's current distributors, who will be able to offer the models according to their commercial strategies and regional needs.
Cable Organizers for CCTV
Cable organizers for CCTV systems are accessories used in installations to simplify, organize, and structure camera connection cables, as well as protect the DVR (video recorder) by preventing unauthorized access or even theft of the equipment.
The 3 models launched by Giga – Vertical Organizer (GSROP), Mini Vertical Organizer (GSMROP) and Horizontal Box Organizer (GSROB) – have individual protection features for video signal and camera power supply, manufactured in treated steel with anti-corrosion treatment and electrostatic painting, prevent poor contact during installation, and also come with factory-installed BNC/octopus type cables for connection between the DVR and the cameras.
The GSROP and GSROB models have internal space for 1 DVR/HVR with up to 16 channels, a power supply, and a small battery, which must be purchased separately.
All models are compatible with HD (AHD, HDTVI and HDCVI) and analog CCTV systems.
The new line features the exclusive PTC regenerative protection system, which protects equipment against induced electrical surges of up to 5000 volts, automatically regenerating after the voltage stabilizes, without the need to replace components, unlike current competitors on the market.
They have a connection for the Surge Protector Balun (GSKITBALUN), an extra protection for the cameras against power surges, lightning strikes and reverse polarity.
19” Racks for Computer Equipment
Giga, recognizing the significant interaction and needs of the CCTV and IT segments, is launching its new line of standard 19″ racks for IT and security. The new line includes both floor and wall-mounted racks in various depths and heights, making it suitable for projects of all sizes, from small to large.
For wall-mounted models, there are 4 main heights: 4U, 6U, 8U, and 12U. Made with a welded SAE steel structure, 0.8mm thick, sides with new quick-release trigger latches that allow for agility in handling and practicality in installation, without the need for tools or coins, in addition to an exclusive internal locking system that prevents the side panels from opening without opening the front door.
For the floor-standing line, the best-selling models on the market are: 20U, 28U, 36U, and 40U, in depths of 570mm and 770mm. Made with a welded SAE steel structure, 1.2mm thick, sides with new quick-release latches, rear door with a combination lock, guaranteeing a firm, resistant structure, supporting up to 500kg with one of the best internal space utilizations on the market, ensuring the customer an excellent cost/benefit ratio.
