A major business platform focused on showcasing new products, trends, and innovations in equipment for a wide variety of applications in the security sector, the international trade fair Exposec reaches its 19th edition in 2016. The event, considered the largest in South America, will be held from May 10th to 12th at the São Paulo Expo Exhibition & Convention Center in São Paulo, and will bring together 800 exhibiting companies. According to the organizers, more than 40,000 professional visitors are expected during the three days of the fair.
In addition to products and technological innovations, Exposec also features a professional training area, with a schedule of lectures on various topics within the electronic security sector. Furthermore, with free admission, the 27th Brazilian Private Security Congress (Cobrase), held concurrently with the fair, will serve as a hub for the exchange of information and content, with a comprehensive program of lectures by experts in the areas of professional management, communication systems, regulation, and technology geared towards the security field.
In the opening lecture, the coordinator of the Technology Chamber of Abese (Brazilian Association of Electronic Security Systems Companies), Renato Prado, will address the "growing trend of integrated platforms in security systems." Following this, "Corporate security: luxury or necessity?" will be the topic presented by journalist and editor of Security Brasil and Incêndio magazines, Luiz Carlos Gabriel. Immediately after, the president of the São Paulo State Escort Companies Union, Autair Iuga, will discuss the "importance of armed escort in Brazil"; and Celso Calazans, consultant in electronic security and monitoring, will address the "world of technology and innovations in private security." .
Cobrase will also feature lectures on “Education for Security – Urban Violence,” given by Diógenes Viegas Dalle Lucca, a crisis management specialist and security consultant; “How to Transform Knowledge into a Great Business, Combining Electronics with Software and the Internet of Things,” presented by the president of the Union of Industries of Electrical, Electronic and Similar Equipment of the Vale da Eletrônica (SINDVEL), Roberto Pinto; and, finally, the lawyer and legal consultant of the National Federation of Security and Transport of Valuables Companies (FENAVIST), Celita Sousa, will outline “An overview of the Administrative Council for Economic Defense (CADE) and reflections on the four fields of national power.”.
The commercial director of Cipa Fiera Milano in Brazil, Rimantas Sipas, who organizes the events in partnership with Abese, reaffirms the importance of the congress and the synergy with Exposec, as well as the integration and exchange of experiences among professionals in the sector, emphasizing that the topics covered at the congress bring to light the improvement of the safety culture in Brazil.
