A Hikvision Hikvision brought products and solutions for condominiums, parking, mobile, vehicles, and security cameras to Exposec. “These are products that were already in use and mature in Brazil, but in some solutions, such as parking, we added some new features, like management through cameras and servers that identify vehicles. Imagine someone parked their vehicle and then can't remember which space they parked in. With our system, they just need to enter the license plate into an app or software, and it will show them where they parked,” says James Love, Training Coordinator at Hikvision.
In the event of an accident, the executive further explains that by entering the license plate into the system, it will provide a video of the exact moment the accident occurred in the parking space. “Conventional parking lots today only have LED indicators with an on/off function. They don't generate reports, they don't offer any information. This system does. It allows for management, with reports showing the time the vehicle was parked, the time it was parked, and also allows for the management of private parking spaces,” he points out.
New releases
The company also brought to Exposec the IRIS Central, which can be categorized as a Video Management System (VMS), but goes far beyond a conventional VMS, since its specific characteristics and functionalities transform it into an efficient platform for camera management, access control, automation, and video analytics (VCA). The differentiating factor of this product is its integration with the IRIS System, an event and alarm monitoring software, presenting a more robust tool.
Another highly anticipated launch at the fair was Hikvision's mobile line, named Hikauto. The product line includes consumer and industrial dashcams, analog and IP mobile video recorders, analog cameras, IP (network) cameras, an advanced driver assistance system, a 360° surround view monitor, and IP cameras with artificial intelligence.
Also announced were products from the Color Vu line: DS-2CD1047G0-L, DS-2CD1347G0-L, DS-2CD2047G2-LU, and DS-2CD2347G2-LU. This line of 4MP high-resolution IP cameras provides high-quality images in a wide variety of applications and conditions. Featuring a fixed 2.8mm lens, the cameras offer an excellent viewing angle. Furthermore, they can be installed outdoors without any additional protection, as they all have an IP67 rating.

“Exposec is a major in-person event about technology and security, and an opportunity to present new products and partnerships to the market. We, together with the IRIS System, are presenting new formats for more efficient and intelligent monitoring,” highlighted Maike Cunha, spokesperson for Hikvision.
Love says the trade show exceeded the company's expectations. "Exposec surprised us with the number of people at the event; it was truly something beyond our imagination. Our expectations were surpassed by 100%, according to what we had planned. It was a success," he noted.
