Salvador, March 16, 2020 – In a demonstration of responsibility and commitment to the health and well-being of exhibitors, visitors, suppliers, employees, and the entire civil society, Cipa Fiera Milano and ABESE – the Brazilian Association of Electronic Security Systems Companies, organizers of EXPOSEC 2020, announce that, given the advance of the Coronavirus (Covid-19), they will postpone the 23rd edition of the fair, which was scheduled to take place between April 14 and 16 at São Paulo Expo.
Following the recommendation issued on March 13th by the Ministry of Health and the Government of the State of São Paulo to cancel all events with large gatherings of people, we must reiterate our commitment to everyone's safety. Cipa Fiera Milano and ABESE are committed to generating business, content, and relationships that contribute to the growth of the security sector. We made every effort to maintain the event, but the situation has changed and requires us to take measures of this nature.
We will continue to closely monitor information and guidance from health authorities in Brazil and abroad, and as soon as the situation changes, we will promptly announce the new date for the event.
