There is a growing demand for solutions that promote more refined analyses and real-time responses, and the market is ready to meet them. Exposec will be an excellent opportunity for the public to learn about what already exists and is available to enhance security projects,” confirms Selma Migliori, president of Abese.

For Maurício Macedo, CEO of Fiera Milano Brasil, this edition consolidates the event's relevance to the sector, especially due to the variety of participating brands, with a focus on cybersecurity companies, as well as international companies. "We have been observing the growing potential of the sector for quite some time now, as it is a stage for important innovations that impact all security segments.".

Expectations for 2024

According to Andrade, the large exhibition area provides an excellent opportunity to showcase products and services, and generate... leads "Participation in Exposec can significantly boost business in the security sector, being a valuable investment for companies that want to stand out and expand their horizons," he states. The professional also highlights that new technologies will be the major trend in the sector this year and in the coming years, given the speed with which they have been adopted and the lack of signs of slowing down.

Looking to the future

According to the president of Abese, Selma Migliori, the expectation for 2024 is that the security sector will grow by 18.51%, driven by the absorption of electronic security solutions in more and more sectors, such as electronic gate systems for condominiums, body cameras used by police officers, the widespread adoption of facial recognition systems for access control in companies, educational centers and events, among others. The segment, in fact, has much to celebrate, since in 2023 it closed with a revenue of over R$12 billion and an average growth of 13.75%.

Looking to the future, for Exposec 2025 Abese has already announced the expansion of the automation sector, in addition to launching the AI, Cybersecurity, and Internet Service Provider sectors, aimed at small internet access providers. “These technologies are already present, but we understand that it is time to structure an even larger and more specific space for these resources that, directly or indirectly, are related to the growth and application of electronic security in Brazil, as is the case with small providers. Therefore, in this edition, we will have the participation of the Brazilian Association of Internet and Telecommunications Providers (Abrint),” they reveal.
