Grupo Protege launches PROTEC – Protege Mobile Security Technology at Exposec 2023

A Brazilian private security company is also showcasing solutions that combine technology and security, in addition to the world's first electric armored truck.

 

The Protege Group is launching PROTEC – Protege Mobile Security Technology at Exposec 2023 | National Security Fair, which takes place between June 13th and 15th at São Paulo Expo, in São Paulo. The company will also present solutions that combine technology and security, as well as the world's first electric armored truck.

Totem Autonomous Modular It is a mobile device that brings together important features to facilitate monitoring: Cameras with Artificial Intelligence with a customized CCTV system; Rotating beacon; Radio communication; Two-way siren; Customized alarm system; Frequency inverter; Retractable tower; Vehicle hitch; Lighting; Communication with a monitoring center; Emergency button and tracker. The equipment also has a solar panel for charging and a battery module. The Totem allows for operational gains, as it is mobile and autonomous, and can also be customized according to the client's needs.

The first one 100% electric armored truck The world's first electric vehicle was launched in 2021, when the company celebrated its 50th anniversary, as an innovation for the future that will also care for the environment. The model has a range of 75 kilometers, a full recharge time of 2 hours and 30 minutes, and zero emissions of polluting gases into the atmosphere. When the vehicle is in operation, the battery system is continuously recharged by regenerative braking technology. This technology extends the vehicle's range and consumes less electricity for refueling. The average reduction in carbon emissions will be 1.4 tons of CO² per month. The vehicle was structured on a chassis from a retired armored truck, mitigating environmental damage and encouraging the reuse of parts. The company also brings two other electric devices: a motorcycle and a scooter for surveillance.

The solution features cutting-edge technology to aid in risk mapping, such as: drones, vehicle DVRs, body cameras, sophisticated camera systems, and alarms.

The company's booth also highlights the Provig, a training center for security guards belonging to the Protege Group, located in São Paulo, trains professionals for the sector. To work as a security guard, it is necessary to have certification proving qualification for the role. Professionals can work in various areas of the sector, such as: armed escort, cash-in-transit, large events, banks, and corporate institutions.
