This Tuesday (13), the Positive Technology It has launched another business front focused on the B2B market. This is PositivoSEG, a business unit for automation and electronic security with solutions for companies and residences throughout Brazil.
According to Positivo, the new unit's portfolio includes Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) devices, cameras, recorders and video monitoring systems, as well as alarm panels and intrusion detection sensors, and other products.
During the presentation of PositivoSEG, which took place at Exposec 2023, a Latin American security trade show, the company highlighted that resellers, installers, integrators, and monitoring companies throughout the country will sell PositivoSEG products.
According to Positivo Tecnologia, the launch of PositivoSEG was prepared over the last 24 months, and part of the company's research and development resources were directed towards boosting its automation and electronic security businesses.
The portfolio options are geared towards a specialized audience and feature the "Do it for Me" (DIFM) concept. This practice complements the "Do it Yourself" (DIY) approach found in solutions from another Positivo Tecnologia business: Positive Smart Home.
The new unit targets a sector that grows, on average, 15% per year and moves around R$ 11 billion in Brazil, according to data provided by the Brazilian Association of Electronic Security Systems Companies (ABESE).
“We spent two years deeply studying the electronic security segment. We understood how it is organized, the target audience, the decision-making process, as well as its potential and needs. We combined these elements with the Company's other capabilities and developed a great business to revolutionize the market,” stated the president of Positivo Tecnologia, Helio Bruck Rotenberg.
