A – Digital Innovation
On April 15th and 16th, at São Paulo Expo, the 8th edition of Vtex Day, the largest digital innovation event in Latin America, will take place. B – High Performance
Recently, another edition of the TOP 500 supercomputer ranking was released, classifying the world's high-performance computers. Three Brazilian supercomputers are included in this list: Santos Dumont, belonging to the National Laboratory for Scientific Computing (LNCC); Fênix, from Petrobras; and Ogbon, from Senai Cimatec in Bahia. All three are considered the largest in Brazil and Latin America, and were built by Atos, a world leader in digital transformation. C – Footwear Design
With registration open, the 3rd Access – Kisafix Footwear Design Challenge addresses an essential theme that has changed the way industries around the world work. D – Bidding Processes and Fraud
The School of Magistrates of the Federal Justice and the TRF3 (Regional Federal Court of the 3rd Region) are promoting an international seminar in which specialists from Brazil, South Korea, and Russia will discuss Public Bidding and Fraud. It will be held on March 3rd, from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM, in person, in the auditorium of the TRF3 headquarters building, at Av. Paulista, 1842, 25th floor, with simultaneous translation. For the third consecutive year, Abese is launching a program to select startups in the electronic security sector, or related fields, with the goal of identifying and promoting innovative businesses. I – Technology Award
The Offshore Technology Conference (OTC) announced that Petrobras has won the leading technology award in the global oil and gas industry, the Distinguished Achievement Award for Companies, granted annually by the institution. The award recognizes the set of innovations developed to enable production in the Búzios field, in the pre-salt layer of the Santos Basin. To make this project a reality, the company developed a series of technologies for a scenario that combines challenging conditions, such as ultra-deep waters and reservoirs located below the salt layer, subjected to high pressure levels, as well as a high presence of carbon dioxide.
