A PPA The gate and barrier automation segment strengthens during the pandemic. Over the past two years, the company has expanded its portfolio by more than 354%, with approximately 300 products, including Legero and Agility technologies.
The event highlights include the BR 1 – the first automatic rolling door opener produced in Brazil, and... PPA ON – Smart Home and the line of advanced cameras, recorders and intercoms.
With the automation of gates and barriers, the expectation is for more than 200 new projects throughout this year. To this end, a R&D (Research, Development and Innovation) department was created, overseeing seven specialized centers – two for mechanics – with more than 50 professionals working directly on the development of products and solutions.
Expansion
In early June, PPA brought together its distributors from Brazil and abroad for the 2022 Convention, which preceded preparations for Exposec.
At the meeting, the construction of the company's first factory outside of Brazil was announced, in Argentina – the first country to import the products.
Furthermore, the directors presented the brand's rebranding – with new visual identity standards and updated benefits for representatives.
“PPA is in a new phase of positioning in the market. We have invested heavily in specialized innovation centers, and the result has been this expansion,” highlights the company's CEO., Samuel Peres.
New features for the public
During the Exposec, At the event held last week, PPA highlighted Legero technology – a new line of automation systems developed to create fast gates, with an ideal combination of strength, speed, and precision of movement.
According to the engineers in charge, the solution has the ideal synchronization between technology, motor, control unit, and cost reduction.
In this way, PPA's patented encoder technology, and Jetflex technology, now in the MONO version, bring speed and precision to the opening and closing ramps, increasing profits for the installer.
Legero can be used in a variety of applications, such as homes, condominiums, industries, sectional garage doors – all with Wi-Fi connectivity.
The available models are for sliding and swing gates, with rack and pinion, chain, and screw drive.
