On May 10th, during Exposec, the President of SEMEESP, Autair Iuga, will give a presentation from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM to introduce this new project to the public, which promises to guarantee greater security for those who regularly perform armed escort services, as well as for those who contract this service.
The SEA Project (Armed Escort Seal) will be launched, and only companies associated with SEMEESP will be able to acquire this Seal. Its main purpose is to give an elite status to those companies that collaborate with the Armed Escort economic sector, that perfectly comply with the laws governing this segment, and that do not use unfeasible prices, thus preventing this segment from suffering setbacks.
In order for a company to acquire this Seal, it is not enough to simply be associated with SEMEESP; companies will have to provide the Union with a series of documents that will be audited. After approval of the audit, the company must pay a fee to then issue its Seal. The validity of this Seal will be monitored by SEMEESP itself, where each company will have its own verification and validation code. The SEA will also have its logo registered with the National Institute of Industrial Property. It is important to note that through the SEMEESP website (www.semeesp.com.br) it will be possible to identify all companies participating in this project.
This project is yet another initiative from this Union, which has been contributing significantly to the growth of armed escort services, not only in the State of São Paulo, but throughout the entire national territory. We want to put an end to clandestine companies as well as the illegal practices carried out by many companies authorized by the Federal Police Department to perform armed escort activities.
